Storm Haven Package If you wish to contribute to the server monetarily, you can do so by purchasing the Storm Haven Package Access for any number of your accounts on the Server. Storm Haven does not and never will require players to pay for access to the server. There are costs associated with running and maintaining a server as well as upgrading it to increase performance and stability. To help cover these costs, the Storm Haven Package was created. The Storm Haven Package Access is a package of in game access for a new hub zone and quest(s) that can only be attained by making the purchase below. All purchases will go towards the server either directly or indirectly. They will be used to purchase hardware upgrades to increase server performance and stability, software to help with further development (different versions of Everquest to possibly expand what content can be used in the emulator), and ISP related costs for increased bandwidth. All purchases will be saved until they reach the point that something new can be bought for the server.
Checking Out There are currently 2 ways to purchase this package; using Google Checkout, or Paypal. Purchase the Storm Haven Package using either Paypal or Google checkout and you have the options to chose how many accounts you would like to add the package access to:

Please PM Trevius on the forums once you have purchased a package and include the account name for Paypal or Google Checkout that you paid with, and the account names that you would like to have set to the Storm Haven Package Status. Also, please mention if you would not like your forum account to show as Contributor, otherwise, it will automatically be added. Currently, every 5.00$ USD that is spent will give Storm Haven Package access to 1 account. Purchasing more than 20$ will increase the rate as shown below:
These are a 1 time cost, they are not re-occurring. Once you have made a purchase and gained Storm Haven Package Status, that status will remain on the account for as long as the server exists. Note that the server is limited to a max 3 accounts per IP that can be used at the same time. By purchasing the Storm Haven Package for 4 or more accounts, it will allow 1 more account to be used at the same time for a total of 4 accounts per IP at the same time. Note that 4 is the maximum number of accounts any 1 person is EVER allowed to play at the same time per IP no matter how many contributor accounts they own and no matter what their boxing limit is set to! If a person purchases less than 4 account upgrades, their accounts get a status of 1 (default status is 0), which allows them access to the normal package features. In order to get a status of 4, which is required for accounts to be able to 4 box, the person must have purchased 4 or more account upgrades. If less than 4 are initially purchased, but additional account upgrades are purchased later and exceed 4 in total, all accounts will be granted status 4 so they can all be used for playing up to 4 accounts at once from the same IP. If the server was ever to be shut down permanently for any reason, all purchases made within 30 days prior to it being shut down would be refunded or the transactions would be canceled.
Storm Haven Package Status Rewards Some slight rewards have been added to the server for accounts that have Storm Haven Package Status. These rewards are meant only to be a small “Thank You” for making the purchase and are not meant in any way to be overpowering or to be something that is required to have a strong character. Currently, the rewards are as listed: 1. The Forum Account for the purchaser will be added to a special group that will change the color of the Account Name and it will also say “Contributor” under your name in posts. 2. Storm Haven Package Status Accounts will be given access to a mirrored version of Nexus that will be in the Guild Hall zone. This contains every NPC that is in nexus and can be used an an alternate base zone for purchasers. Everything that can be done in nexus (quests, training, etc) can be done in the Guild Hall. It will also contain at least 1 NPC that isn’t in Nexus and that NPC will be for Storm Haven Package Status Only quests. 3. Currently, the only purchaser only quests are for upgrades to all Storm Haven charms. The upgrades are not massive upgrades, but they are noticeably nicer in stats and have new names. To do these quests, all a purchaser has to do is turn in their Charm (Beginner’s Luck Charm, Timeless Charm, or Veteran’s Charm) and it will be returned as the upgraded version. In the future, more Purchaser Only quests may be added to the Guild Hall, but that is not a top priority. Since Storm Haven Package Status is only meant to be a small reward, there aren’t any plans to have extensive quests, or experience zones that will be only for contributors. Though, some may be added eventually when time permits. 4. Character moves from 1 account to another will be allowed for accounts with Storm Haven Package Status. Characters can only be moved to or from an account that has Storm Haven Package Status. We will not move characters on other accounts that both don’t have Storm Haven Package Status even if one or both of the accounts are owned by by a player that does. In order to receive a character move, PM Trevius on the forums and include the character name(s) you wish to have moved as well as the to and from account name(s). 5. For anyone who purchases the Storm Haven Package for 4 or more accounts ($20+), it will increase the IP Limit for those accounts up to 4 accounts that can be used simultaneously. Currently, all normal accounts have a maximum of 3 that can be used at the same time, but this will allow them to use 4 at once.
Disclaimer Please note that if a player with Storm Haven Package Status is caught cheating or breaking the Server Rules and it is verified 100%, they will still be banned from the server just as any other player would be. And, there will not be a refund on the purchase. So, please do not break the rules if you are going to make the purchase. There will be no special treatment for purchasers. Also, item loss due to bug or server crash will still fall under the same policy for purchasers as it does for normal players. We try to please as many people as possible, but we will not be biased even for people who have made the purchase. |
